PETAR MAZEV
A follower of American neo-expressionism and one of the most important postwar painters who introduced new energy into contemporary Macedonian art . Before choosing expressionism he went through several phases. The most significant is his White Phase: Man comes at the centre of the crucifixion of his colouristic explosion. The warm, vibrating resonance of his palette is in absolute synchrony with his tireless fluctuating creative temperament. |
