SPASE KUNOVSKI
The first representative of surrealism in Macedonia . His discourse reflects some ingredients of magic realism and metaphysical painting. The different motifs he used in his paintings, even though filled with a reserved melancholy, emanate a closeness to Magritte’s poetics. The spatial rearrangement of elements within the compositional whole symbolize the solitude of modern man. |
