VASILIE POPOVIC - CICO
Known as the founder of modern Macedonian caricature and one of the leading figures of modern Macedonian art in general . He also produced a number of watercolours and oils, and worked on illustrations and set designs. The most frequent subjects of irony in his caricatures were artist friends of his generation, as well as public figures, from political and cultural life. |
